Past Simple

We use the Past Simple, for finished action in the past. 

We also call this FINISHED TIME..... IT CAN NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN

Examples of finished time:

Last year, a couple of months ago, yesterday, last week, in 2007,

How to form a Past Simple?

Verb+ed

Example: 

1.I talked to my friend last night
2. He Travelled to Europa a couple of months ago.

MCT?

Marry / Cry and try?

If a verb ends with a -Y and you hear a --> (AAI sound)  or (IE sound)

you get +ied                !!!NOT +YED!!!!!!

Example

1. Mister Hulst cried during the Aida musical last week.

Some verbs are changing when we use it in the past, we call these verbs for irregular verbs. TODAY's TOPIC!! 🎁
