Reading tips
- Read the Title(s)
- Read subtitles/headings
- Look at the illustrations
- Predict what the text will be about
- Read the question(s) before you read the text
- When reading the text: underline important information
--> usually a sentence or a few words per paragraph
Remember: reading makes you a better reader! (+ study vocabulary)

Quoting
-When you want to quote from a text, you start with single quotation marks (‘). Copy the first two words, add (...) to indicate you’ve left out a piece, and end again with last two words and single quotation marks (’).
– If you’re quoting a whole sentence, start with a capital letter.
– If you’re only quoting part of a sentence, don’t start with a capital letter, but with a lower case one
