Assignment: the book and you
In our life, we meet different people. Think about family, friends, neighbours, people on your sports team, for example. We make friends and sometimes we lose friends. Maybe you had a best friend in primary school, but now you don’t see each other anymore because you went to different secondary schools. Sometimes, we lose people who are close to us because of an accident or illness, as happens in 'Harold Fry'.

Assignment:
- You are going to write a letter to a person with whom you have lost touch and with whom you would like to reconnect.
- If necessary, look for information online on how to write an informal letter
- Use about 175 words (yes it's a lot to copy-paste in LessonUp), but it's doable.
In the next slide you will read how to write the body.

Slide 16 - Slide

Assignment:
The body text is the main part of your letter. This part will have 3 paragraphs:
1.) Make a list of all the good memories you have of your relationship with the person. Where did you meet? How often did you see each other? What kind of things did you usually do together? This will be the first paragraph.
2.) Think about why you lost touch. Did something happen? Were you very busy? Do you miss him/her? This will be the second paragraph.
3.) Is there anything you would like to say to this person? If possible, would you like to meet again? Would you like to make (or get) an apology for something that happened between you? This will be the third paragraph.

Write your letter in Word first (about 175 words) and then copy-paste it here:
