Maar wanneer welke vorm?

Je gebruikt to be going to + hele ww als dingen vooraf al gepland zijn en als je een voorspelling doet met bewijs.

Jenny is going to play with Kim later today. 

I am not going to go to Tom's party. 

Are you going to sing at Tom's party?  

2. Will / Shall + hele ww

Je gebruikt will / shall + hele ww als dingen 

spontaan gebeuren / een belofte / een wens en als je een voorspelling doet zonder bewijs (bijvoorbeeld een mening). 

Shall + hele ww als je iets voorstellen (iets te vragen) 

That looks heavy. I'll open the door for you.

• Is het een voorspelling met bewijs?

• Is het een voorspelling zonder bewijs gebaseerd op een mening/veronderstelling?
  
• Is het een spontaan gesproken antwoord op iets?
  
• Is het en belofte, wens of verzoek?
