Doel: Je gebruikt de bezittelijke vorm om te zeggen dat iets of iemand van jou of iemand anders is.

Als je namen van mensen en dieren bezittelijk wilt maken zet je een 's achter het woord, ook als het woord al eindigt op een s:

Dit doe je ook als je woorden gebruikt die tijd uitdrukken:

Je zet ook een 's achter meervoudsvormen:

Let op! meervoudsvormen die eindigen met een s krijgen alleen een ' aan het einde van het woord.

- The cat's water bowl (1 kat)
