What are we going to do today?

- I will first ask you a few questions to see what you still know about the grammar.

De past continuous wordt gebruikt om aan te geven dat:

1. iets op een bepaald moment in het verleden aan de gang was
2. Al afgelopen is.
3. Nooit gebeurd is
4. In de tegenwoordige tijd is

Een voorbeeld van een zin in de past continuous is: We were planning our trip. Maak nu zelf een zin in de past continuous.

Hoe weet je dat je te maken hebt met een past simple? (er zijn meer antwoorden goed)

1. Het is tegenwoordige tijd
2. Er staat een signaalwoord als last night, yesterday in de zin
3. Iets is in het verleden begonnen en het is belangrijk wanneer het is gebeurd.
4. Het is werkwoord + ing
