  • SMART (specific, measurable/meaningful/motiviating, achievable, relevant (reasonable, results-based), time bound (time limited)).
  • set an attainable goal
  • be realistic
  • don't tell anybody (except your English teacher, of course ;-) )
  • One thing at a time
  • Find a partner - encourage each other!
