Will + infinitive (= hele ww)

• iets aanbieden: I will help you with your homework.
  
• belofte: I will pick  you up; I promise!
  
• aankondiging / besluit: The wedding will take place next       summer
  
• voorspelling zonder bewijs: I think our team will win the match.
  

to be (am, is, are)+ going to + infinitive

- Als het plan er al was voor het gesprek

I am going to work this weekend

- Een voorspelling met bewijs.

Look at all those clouds. It is going to rain soon.

Present Continuous = am, is, are + ww+ ing

- Dingen die gepland zijn en vrijwel zeker gaan gebeuren (bv reserveringen)

We are having dinner at a restaurant at 6.30.

I am flying to Paris next week.

Present Simple (ww / ww+(e)s

- Vaste tijden / rooster / schema / dienstregeling

The stores close at six.

The train departs in ten minutes.

Beloftes: I will give you this book next week

Voorspellingen ZONDER bewijs: I think it will snow next week

to be + going to + ww:

Geplande afspraken: I am going to meet Jack on Thursday  

Voorspelling MET bewijs: Look at the clouds! It is going to rain!       

Present simple:

Vertrektijden: The bus leaves at 8am

Openingstijden: The shop opens at 9am

Present continuous (to be + ww + ing)

Geplande afspraken: I am meeting Jack on Thursday
