Use verb + ing after these verbs
avoid, can’t stand, enjoy, finish, look forward to, mind, miss, practice, stop + after prepositions

Tom avoids doing his homework.
We don't mind washing the dishes.
Verb + to infinitive (hele ww)

Use verb + to infinitive after these verbs: agree, allow, ask, choose, decide, forget, hope, learn, offer, plan, try, want, would like/love

She agrees to babysit your kids.
Tom and Tim choose to study in Utrecht instead of Amsterdam.
love, hate, prefer and like can be used for both
