Net als bij to be (zijn), zijn er drie verschillende soorten zinnen: bevestigend (+), ontkennend (-), vragend (?).

Bij de + zinnen zet je de juiste vorm van to have got meteen achter het onderwerp:​

Bij bevestigende (+) zinnen, komt de juiste vorm van to have got meteen achter het onderwerp.
