F. Scott Fitzgerald born 1896 died 1940

Fitzgerald is credited with coining the term 'jazz age'. This novel takes place in America during the 1920s. You will expand your knowledge of this period in history. The context of composition is very important for this novel to fully understand some of the nuances and references.
