STEP A. SKIMMING

1. Skim the text for gist, and write an appropriate title.

2. Skim read each paragraph and write a few words to summarise each one (not a full sentence, no details).

3. Summarise the entire text in one short sentence (again, no details). 

ATL SKILL

STEP B. Scan reading

1. Read again the text and  focus on the verbs that are in a Past tense.

2. Write a list of verbs that are in the Pretérito perfecto tense (ej.: he comido) and in the Pretérito indefinido (ej.: comí)
