Active and passive voice

De vorige les hadden we het over de active en passive voice. Waarbij de active voice vooral ging over WIE/WAT iets deed.

De passive ging vooral over de actie of handeling.

The dog is eating kibble. (active)

Kibble is being eaten by the dog. (passive)

Daarbij was het rechter plaatje erg belangrijk ->

wat opvallend is, is dat bij alles het werkwoord een voltooid deelwoord is!

(handig om te weten)

Change from active to passive:
"My brother is washing the dishes."

Change from active to passive:
"Trump has won the election."

Change from active to passive:
"The hunter shot the deer."

Change from active to passive:
"The clown has scared the children."

Change from active to passive:
"The criminal stole the television."
