When something always, never, or regularly happens
Recognized by words like "always, never, regularly, often, etc."
"I always walk down that road."
"He never talks during class."
"They regularly interrupt me."

Happens right now
"I am walking"
"He is talking."
"They are singing."
"He is being respectful."
Form of to be (is, am, are) + verb + -ing

Just or not yet happened
Have/has + verb + -ed
Irregular verbs have their own forms

Three ways of saying "moeten"
They consist of being strict to less strict:
Must (most strict)
Have to (less strict than must)
Should (least strict)
Ought to (formal version of should)

"I must visit my grandma, I haven't seen her in ages."
Have to: obligation from others (rules)
"You have to be on time!"
Should/ought to: advice given, but not mandatory
"You should/ought to eat more fruit."
