De present continuous maak je:

vorm van 'to be' + werkwoord + ing

Wanneer gebruik je de Past Continuous?

De past continuous gebruik je voor:

Langere activiteiten die zijn begonnen en geëindigd in het verleden.

verleden tijd van 'to be' (was/were) + werkwoord + ing
