Present Continuous

De regel is: to be (am/are/is) + infinitief + -ing

Je gebruikt de present continuous voor de volgende situaties:

Om aan te geven dat iets nu aan het gebeuren is

• I am teaching at this moment
  
•  You are listening to me
  
•  They are thinking about what I am saying
  

Present Continuous

Als toekomstige tijd voor dingen die in de toekomst op een bepaalde tijd gaan gebeuren

•  We are eating at grandma’s tonight
  
•  I am catching the 15.00 hours train this afternoon

Signaalwoorden present continuous
