Irregular verbs: past simple / present perfect

Practise the use of present perfect/past simple & irregular verbs:
  • Write six sentences, using a different irregular verb in each.
  • Use the past simple (3x) and present perfect (3x).
  • Try to make it a story about shopping.

Difficult? For example:
I haven't been shopping for a long time. (to be, present perfect)
I saw a nice pair of sneakers in the shop window. (to see, past simple)
