Which is the adverb (bijwoord) in the following sentence?
"The small dolphin swam quickly towards its mother."

Volgorde: Bijwoorden

Bijwoorden zoals always, usually, often...
1. staan VOOR elke werkwoord behalve het werkwoord "to be" (=zijn)

2. staan NA het werkwoord "to be" (=zijn)

Er zijn uitzonderingen, maar die zullen we op een later tijdstip leren.

Bijwoorden VOOR het werkwoord:

I usually wake up late.

Bron always walks to school.

You never read books.

They rarely play golf.

We often eat cereal for breakfast.

Bijwoorden NA het werkwoord "to be"

He is always late.

I am usually tired after work.

They are rarely available.

She is often stressed with her studies.

We are never bored of playing games!

It is not always easy.

They aren't usually this late
