Cardinal Numbers!

What are cardinal numbers?

In English, we have cardinal numbers and ordinal numbers.

Cardinal numbers: zero, one, two, three, four, five etc.

Ordinal numbers: first, second, third, fourth, fifth etc.

What are cardinal numbers?

In English, we have cardinal numbers and ordinal numbers.

Cardinal numbers: zero, one, two, three, four, five etc.

Ordinal numbers: first, second, third, fourth, fifth etc.

Write down a number in English between 1 and 10. Write it fully (not: 1, but: one)

Write down a 'tiental' in English. (for example: 10, 20, 30) Write it fully.

Exceptions

15 + 50	Terwijl 5 "five" is, zeggen we "fifteen" en "fifty"
40	Terwijl 4 "four" is, zeggen we "forty"
11	Dit is niet "oneteen", maar "eleven"
12	Dit is niet "twoteen", maar "twelve"
13 t/m 19	Bij tientallen schrijven we: het tiental - de hoeveelheid (bijvoorbeeld bij 21 is het tiental 20 en de hoeveelheid 1, dus schrijven we twenty-one). MAAR, bij de getallen tussen 10 en 20, schrijven we: de hoeveelheid + "teen" (Bijvoorbeeld bij 17 = seventeen)
