Reader's response

In reader-response, the reader is essential to the meaning of a text for they bring the text to life. The purpose of a reading response is examining, explaining, and defending your personal reaction to a text.

The response can be either

textual, experiential, psychological, social, and cultural

or a mix of all.

Read the fragment silently

Tell your neighbour in three sentences what your fragment is  about

Decide together which fragment you will analyse for the coming 20 minutes
