1. What is the Present Continuous?

2. What is the goal of the Present Continuous?

We use the present continuous to talk about things that are happening right now

3. How do you make the Present Continuous?

you use a form of 'to be' in the present tense and a verb that ends in -ing

4. Give an example of the Present Continuous in a sentence

I am walking to school

Present Continuous

Present Continuous = onvoltooid tegenwoordige tijd

Goal: we use the present continuous to talk about things that are happening right now

You make the present continuous like this:

1. You use a form of the verb "to be" in the present tense

2. You use a verb that ends in "-ing"

For example:

I am walking to school

She is dancing in the rain

We are running to the cinema
