Practise writing an entire essay
You are going to write a complete, new essay using everything you've learned.

The topic is as follows: 
Should every student go to college?

Remember the different aspects! 
- Introduction: hook, background, thesis statement
- Thesis statement: main point + arguments in short
- Body paragraphs (3 in total): TEXAS
- Conclusion: summary, significance, strong closing sentence
- Cite your sources appropriately 
- Make a reference list

Formal language 
Remember you have to use formal language! 
- No contractions (such as haven't, isn't, etc) 
- Use formal linking words (i.e. however instead of but, etc.) 
- Use actual English (no wanna, gonna, ain't, etc.)

  • colon [:]
  • semicolon [;] 
  • apostrophe ['] 
  • question mark [?]
