Grammar
Unit 2: duties: Exercise 12/13/14
Present continuous:
Formule: verplichte vorm van to be (Am/is/are)

They/we/you ARE leaving the building now. (gaan nu weg).
I AM SEEING him this afternoon (nabije toekomst).
He/she/it IS LOOKING at the robbers quite angrily.

Past continuous:

He WAS DOING his rounds.
They WERE WATCHING the CCTV footage for about an hour.

Grammar
Unit 2: duties: Exercise 12/13/14
Question tags:

You are listening, aren't you?

We weren't late, were we? (Zinsdeel 1 ontkennend, dus zinsdeel twee bevestiging)

Gebruik zoveel mogelijk hetzelfde werkwoord;
will/won't, are/aren't, do/don't, has/hasn't etc.

Vb: You are listening, aren't you? (Ik twijfel, dus check het nog even)
of
You aren't listening, are you?

Formule: To be (was/were) + WW plus ING

I WAS WORKING very hard that day.
They WERE RUNNING around crazily.
present continuous

Formule: WW to be (Am/is/are) + ww plus ING
