Summer Bucket List (1)
Eat croissants in Paris, learn to cook Greek food, see the Northern Lights or bungee jump? Most of us have goals, things we have always dreamed of doing or hope we could experience in our lifetimes. This is called a bucket list. Having goals and checking them off your list.

What goes on a bucket list? There is no right or wrong way to design a bucket list. It is a personal journey between you and your aspirations. Each list should be different because it is meant to reflect what you most desire in your own life. For example, mine includes learning to surf, skydiving, and sliding down a waterfall to calm my adventurous side. If you are not a thrill seeker, your list may be entirely different. The important part is to come up with items that are meaningful to you; ones that will inspire you to wake up each morning with a fire in your belly.

You can also create a Summer Bucket List. This is what I did a few weeks ago. When I came home from a vacation, I found myself in the worst mood all the time. The reason why is because I spent almost three to five hours a day only on my phone and the rest of the day watching television. So, I started wondering how I could improve my daily activities this summer.

Summer Bucket List cont.... (2)
One day, I came downstairs to my mom and handed in all my electronics. Meaning my cell phone, my Kindle, and Ipad. I only have a basic phone for now. No more social media or web searching for my summer. Ever since I handed in my electronics to my mom, I’ve found a new attitude and I am able to look at the wonderful things around me.

My name is Jordan. I’ve just started my list. So far, the best things on my list are having a game night, tell scary stories and do pranks. But I also have some lowkey, fun activities like playing mini-golf, and going to the swimming pool. I do a lot of activities with my friends. They’re all very excited too! We don’t want to spend too much money because none of us have a job. I am absolutely sure that this summer will be fantastic!

So what’s on your list? Here are some things to consider: have a summer sleepover, watch the sunrise, sleep under the stars, go sailing, have a paintball fight, try a new restaurant together with your mom and dad, bake cupcakes, send messages in bottles, grow a tomato or sunflower plant etc.

Do you have some fun activities planned this summer?
