§3.1 World: The Earth is warming up!
Slide 1 - Slide
Goals
-You know a number of facts which demonstrate the Earth is warming up.
-You understand why the Earth is warming up and what consequences that has for life on Earth.
-You can identify a number of areas where climate change is visible.
Slide 2 - Slide
Facts:
Facts scients agree on:
Earth is getting warmer, glaciers and landice melt which causes the sealevel to rise.
It is certain that greenhouse gasses heat up earths atmosphere.
The warming effect is continuing, even if all emmissions of greenhouse gasses would stop.
The effects of global warming are noticeable. Climate change is not in the future. It is happening now.

What is the greenhouse effect?
Slide 8 - Slide
Causes
Earth has a lot of water vapour and CO2 in the atmosphere. This traps warmt of the sun.
Whichout the greenhouse effect it would be much to cold on earth.
Humans are enhansing the greenhouse effect.
Therefor:
enhanced greenhouse effect:
warming effect due to humans
