The Passive

• The present perfect passive.​
  
• Have/has (he, she, it) + been + past participle​
  
• You have not paid your bill yet.​
  
• Your bill has not been paid yet (by you).​
  
• They have closed the hospitals.​
  
• The hospitals have been closed (by them).​

Why is the passive form useful?

1. to talk about things without knowing who did them
