Meestal staat een bijvoeglijk naamwoord voor het zelfstandig naamwoord dat het omschrijft.

Een bijvoeglijk naamwoord kun je ook achter bepaalde werkwoorden zetten. De volgende dia geeft aan bij welke werkwoorden je dit mag doen.

- to appear
- to seem
