Will

Will gebruik je om aan te geven dat iets in de toekomst gaat gebeuren. 

I will get a new TV soon.

 --->  

Ik zal binnenkort een nieuwe TV krijgen.

Formule 

will + hele werkwoord

Voorbeeld: He will eat a burger.

Vormen

Je kan will op twee manieren schrijven:

1. Lange vorm: Will
   He will close the window. It is cold.
   
2. Korte vorm: 'll
   He'll close the window. It is cold.

Ontkennende zinnen

• Bij ontkennende zinnen zet je 'not' achter 'will', of gebruik de korte vorm: won't 

I will not help you.           --- OF ---         I won't help you.

The cat will not eat.        --- OF ---         The cat won't eat.

His car will not start.      --- OF ---         His car won't start.

Vragende zinnen

• Bij vragende zinnen gebruik je bijna altijd will, behalve bij de vormen 'I en we'. Bij I  en we gebruik je shall.
