Write a short paragraph answering the following question: According to the video and/or any online research, where did Presidents' day come from? Why do we celebrate it on the day we do?

• Since some of you have missed some school days, I've inserted the PowerPoint from class. Take any notes you've missed/review the following information.  
• I've also added a slide, so everybody needs to make sure they get the notes on that!

After taking notes and/or reading in your book/watching the previous videos, explain the evolution of the textile industry at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. What inventions were significant? Also, how important was the cotton gin?
