Have you ever heard of a report?

What is a report?

• A report is usually written by people who have examined a particular situation or problem. 
• A report may be written for a superior (e.g. a boss or. college principal) or a peer group (e.g. club members or colleagues) or for an organization.

Writing a report

• Written with formal language
• Factual, but you can use own experience & ideas
• Lay-out: First outline purpose of report, then evaluate/descripe based in task, in the end suggest/recommend
• Must have: title, subheaders 
• You can use this as your first sentence: The purpose of this report is to.... / The aim of this report is to....
