Questions 

Rules

Don't change the order of the words, simply add DO at the beginning of the sentence and a question mark at the end.

Examples:

They make pancakes.

Do they make pancakes?

I like thrillers.

Do I like thrillers?

We see a dog.

You play football.

They have a question.

Watch out!

SHIT -subjects are special:

He likes his shoes.

Does he like his shoes?

What do you notice?

Questions with SHIT-subjects

He likes his shoes.

Instead of DO you should put DOES at the beginning

and you remove the -S after like 

Does he like his shoes?

The rule:

You only have one -S in the verbs and that one is at the beginning.

She wears a dress.

Does she wear a dress?

She knows the answer.

He reads a book.

Anne watches a film.

Negations

The rule

To make a sentence negative, you put 
do not (don't) 

before the verb

Examples:

I go to school.
 I don't go to school.

We dance a lot.

We don't dance a lot.

Sentence

I like chocolate.

Negation

I don't like chocolate.

(I like not chocolate.

is fout!)

I know the answer.

You like this sweater.

As you might have expected,

SHIT -subjects are different

The rule

SHIT -subjects get doesn't in front of the verb.

The -S after the verb is deleted.

He likes chocolate.

He doesn't like chocolate.

He talks to his mum.

Anna gives a present.

It rains every week.
