 Activeer je voorkennis

HOE: 

- Kijk naar plaatjes, titel, vormgeving, bron, tussenkopjes

-  Bepaal welk type tekst het is 

 (advertentie, krantenartikel, fragment uit een boek, gedicht)

Je hebt voorkennis geactiveerd en bent klaar voor een leestoets,
wat doe je nu?

Tijdens het lezen

- Lees eerst de vraag

- Lees dan het stukje tekst waarnaar verwezen wordt

- Probeer in eigen woorden antwoord te geven op de vraag. 

- Heb je het echt nodig om onbekende woorden op te zoeken in een woordenboek of kan je de betekenis raden?

Na het lezen

- Staat jouw antwoord bij de antwoorden?

- Kan je foute antwoorden wegstrepen?

- Antwoorden moeten echt in de tekst staan. Niet kiezen op        basis van logica​.

- Weet je het antwoord nog niet lees dan de tekst of alinea nog een keer.
