Past Simple?

Past Continuous

de regel:

Verleden tijd van 'to be' (was/were) + ww+ing

She was reading a book.

We were talking all day.

How do you make a question with the Past Continuous?

Can you make a question in the Past Continuous: 'I was walking for hours'

And what about a negative (not) sentence?
'We were riding our bikes'

When do you use the Past Continuous?

1. Als iets voor een langere tijd bezig was in het verleden
2. als het nu bezig is
3. als het een gewoonte is

Past Simple vs. Past Continuous

Deze worden vaak samen in één zin gebruikt. Wanneer een langere activiteit wordt onderbroken of tegelijk gebeurd met een kortere activiteit.
