prefixes & suffixes 

logical - illogical -> the opposite has a few letters that we put in front of the word = prefix 

to attract - attractive -> the verb has become an adjective by putting a few letters behind the word = suffix

- un/im/non/dis = prefixes

-ment/able/ous/ive= suffixes
