- Autumn 1942: Most of the city has been taken by the German forces
- But then winter strikes again...

- Russian forces keep sending troops

- Russian forces use winter to their advantage and surround Stalingrad --> Elite German forces in Stalingrad are doomed

- February 1943: German troops surrender  --> Germany lost a lot of troops
