Hoe maak je een passive zin?

1. het voorwerp vooraan zetten.

onderwerp achteraan, het is niet belangrijk wie iets doet

er wordt iets gedaan met het voorwerp


2. vorm van 'to be' toevoegen.
am/are/is/was/were/be
Kijk goed in welke werkwoordtijd de zin staat.

3. Tweede werkwoord veranderen naar een voltooid deelwoord.

PRESENT  SIMPLE
Active sentence:    We learn English.
Passive sentence: English is learnt (by us).
Vertaling                    Engels wordt geleerd. 
PAST SIMPLE
Active sentence:        Peter caught a big fish.
Negative sentence:  A big fish was caught (by Peter). 
Vertaling:                      Een groet vis werd gevangen (door Peter).
