In your group each of you finds a fact that has to do with the topic given. Let’s say your topic is ‘boats’, then each of you would do research about his boats, what type, when, where he would go, etc. and then report back what you have found. Together you will make a top 5 of this. You’ve got 10 minutes to do so. Keep the sentences short. You may include one fake fact if you like. See if your teacher can spot the fake fact.

After 10 minutes, you regroup in the Teams call and report back. One of you introduces what you found out, something along the lines of: ‘We looked at one of Prince Philip’s hobbies, namely boats. Now we’re going to announce our top 5 facts’. Each of you then reads out one fact.

The Poet Laureate, a poet officially appointed by a government or conferring institution, typically expected to compose poems for special events and occasions, of Britain, Simon Armitage, who is an English poet, playwright and novelist who was appointed Poet Laureate on 10 May 2019, wrote a poem for the Duke's passing and was published on the day of his funeral.
