Writing plan
- Who is the audience?
boss, stranger, friend etc
- What do you want to achieve?
amuse, inform, convince someone of your opinion
- Which ideas to include or leave out? (not confusing the reader)
-How to organise your ideas? (structure)

Slide 6 - Slide

Organising your ideas into clear paragraphs
- one 1 main idea per paragraph
- don't try to put in too much in 1 paragraph
- no min length per paragraph - just make your point
- paragraph starts with topic sentence

Slide 7 - Slide

Tips
- in 2nd going through: spelling, interpunction etc
- can I use nicer words?
- try more difficult things and making a mistake gets you more points than correct, but very simple (no. of mistakes says noting about your grade)
