When do you use the Present Perfect?

* When something started in the past bit isn't finished/over yet.
* When you see the result of something that happened in the past now.
I can't run, I have broken my leg. (been is nog steeds gebroken)
I have known my boyfriend for 5 days. (je kent hem nog steeds)
I have been to London six times. (ervaring)

(notice in Dutch you use "heb bekeken but in English you just use "watched" not "have watched")
