Black Story

Two dead men are seated at a table. On the table between them is a game of chess and pistol. What has happened?

The two men are in a submarine stranded on the ocean floor. There was enough oxygen to last them for a few hourse and only one bullet left in the gun they had. They played the game of chess to see who would be allowed to shoot himself and who would have to suffocate.
