What is Purple Friday?

Purple Friday is a “day to stand against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia and show our support for LGBTI equality”  Purple Friday is named after the purple stripe on the LGBT rainbow flag, representing “spirit”.

As a society, should we accept those with other thoughts, opinions and feelings?
