Can use the imperative correctly in a sentence.

We use the imperative when we:

Give directions: Listen to your parents.

Give advice: Don't forget your umbrella.

Give orders: Listen to me!

Give warnings: Be careful!

How do we make the imperative?

Positive sentences:

hele werkwoord 

The imperative is at the beginning of the sentence.

Clean your room!

Negative sentences:

Don't + hele werkwoord 

Don't open the door!
