Lesson goal:
We will investigate cultural characteristics by using the 5 F's: Family, Festivals, Faith, Food, and Finances.

We will investigate how these 5 F's are present in our classroom. During this activity, you will learn culture related words. You will also practice English speaking skills.

At the end of the lesson, you'll be able to do research on your own F's of Family, Food, and Festival.

         EXPLORE
In this Explore phase, we will look into the idea of "cultural eating habits." We will gather information about how our families and cultures influence the way we eat. By exploring these different backgrounds, we will start to understand how food can reflect who we are and where we come from. This phase will help us see how our cultural habits shape our view of food and how other cultures might have different traditions and perspectives.

         INVESTIGATE
In this phase, called "Investigate," we will explore the diverse eating habits of different cultures. Food reflects our cultural identities and values, and it plays a significant role in our daily lives.
We will examine various cuisines and customs, comparing our own eating habits with those of our classmates. Key questions include: What are typical foods in your culture? How do meal times differ? What traditions surround food in your family?
