What are irregular verbs?
A verb which has three (3) forms and which does not follow the normal rules.  
You need to learn irregular verbs by heart (see WB pg.94).
Example:

Past participle
Steal

Negative (Negation) regular & irregular verbs
- Do NOT negate a main verb in English. 
Always use the auxiliary did (Simple Past of 'to do') and the infinitive (base form) of the verb for negations.
There is no difference between regular and irregular verbs in negative sentences
