  • Duurvorm / -ing vorm 
  • If you want to say something is happening at the moment of talking or writing about it.
  • In Dutch we say: 'Aan het...' 'Zit(ten) te...' 'Sta te...'

Words that end in -e: Live -> living
Words that end in -ie: Lie -> Lying
Double the last letter in words ending in 1 -L: Travel -> Travelling
Double the last letter for short words that end in 1 vowel + consonant: Swim -> Swimming
