Learning Objective
At the end of the lesson, you will know how to create a vlog , find decent examples and know how to submit it according to the instructions given. You will also understand what aspects of your vlog will be evaluated.

Explain the learning objective to the students and emphasize the importance of teamwork and following instructions.
What is a Vlog?
A vlog is a video blog. It is a video that documents someone's life, thoughts, opinions, or experiences.

Slide 3 - Slide

Show examples of vlogs and ask students if they have ever watched a vlog before. Encourage them to share their thoughts.
Step 1: Topic
Scotland

Step 2: Scripting Your Vlog
Create a script for your vlog. This will help you stay organized and ensure that you cover all the important points. You can also practice your lines beforehand (but make sure to keep it spontaneous).

Keep in mind you have to speak for at least 5 minutes per person and don't read straight from a paper.

Encourage the students to create a script that flows well and is engaging for the audience.
Step 3: Filming And Editing Your Vlog
Film your vlog using a camera or smartphone. Make sure you have good lighting and sound quality. You can also use editing software to make your vlog more polished.

Remind the students to film in a quiet area and to check the lighting and sound before filming. Explain how to use editing software if needed.
Step 4: Submit Your Vlog
Submit your vlog on google classroom according to the instructions given by your teacher. Make sure to follow all the submission guidelines.

Here are some examples of vlogs to get inspiration for your own. Pay attention to the content, pacing, and editing.

Evaluation Criteria
Your vlog will be evaluated based on the quality and originality of your content, your delivery, and your editing. Make sure to put effort into all aspects of your vlog.
  • Time (minimum of 5 minutes speaking time)
  • Use of language
  • Fluency
  • Pronunciation
  • Content of your vlog

Practice Time
If there is enough time left, take some time to brainstorm ideas and start creating a script.

Form groups of 2 or work on your own.
