At the end of the lesson, you will be able to listen to a video and extract information from it to make an assignment.

At the end of the lesson, you will be able to talk about women's history month in groups.

At the end of the lesson, you will be able to write about women's history month and create your own opinion on a statement.

Video assignment

1.  Watch the first part of the video (0:00 – 4:05 min) and mark the names of the women mentioned in the video.

2. We'll watch the video again:  match the sentences to the names.

4. Decide if the statements are True or False. Write F/ T in front of the sentence + explain why (+/- 5 minutes)

1. Sit in groups of 4: put your tables together

1. Talk to each other about two of the questions of your handout (question 10 + choose 1) - 7 minutes

2. As a group, fill in the table (use the internet)  - +/- 7 minutes.

1. As a group, you will receive a name of an influential woman in history, you will look up information on that woman (answer the questions)

2. We will switch groups to share your knowledge with your classmates (in English), take notes (on the back of your handout) - 2 minutes per student
