A good map

1. A title 

2. A map key (legend)

3. Colors and symbols 

4. A scale (1 cm = .... km)

5. A north arrow or compass 

Your turn!

1. Take a piece of paper 

2. Think about: what would you like to see on a map 

3. Draw a symbol to show this on the map. 

4. Don't forget to write down what it is :) 

Done? give your symbol to the teacher.
