• Hopefully we can quickly forget last year and look forward to a fantastic new year!
• Speaking about which: we're going to get vaccinated  
• From a scale 1 to 10: how hopeful are you that things will get better? 
• 1 = 'meh' 
• 10 = Very hopeful!!!

What are New Year's Resolutions?

• A New Year's Resolution = 'een goede voornemen'; They are always positive! 
• 1. I want to be nicer to my parents.
• 2. I want to become better at cooking.
• 3. I want to learn how to do a bicycle kick (omhaal).
• 4. I want to say something nice to someone every day. 

How do you make them?  

• I want to + (hele werkwoord) ........... this year 
• Bijv. I want to become better at Maths/English/Dutch/history. 
• Bijv. I want to get good grades/ good marks. 

What are your 2 resolutions.. Start as follows: 'I want to .....' / 'I want to......'
