We know what they are, but what does it mean really.

Take a minute to think about your own New Year's resolutions. 

Then, in pairs, discuss these resolutions. 

Also talk about why your partner has chosen that resolution.

Exercise - Writing

Based on the video clip and your own knowledge, how will the aviation industry change in the next fifty years? Although predictions are always a gamble, you might have some ideas about innovations. Think about new types of aircraft, drones, fuel, capacity, velocity, etc. 

Write 20-50 words about the changes you think will take place in the industry. 

Group exercise

Form groups of two or three. 

In your group, discuss the short answers you each wrote to the previous exercise. 

After sharing your individual answers, discuss which ideas are your favorites. Then discuss which ideas are the most likely to happen. 

Be ready to share your ideas with the group.
